Burrell School’s origins date back to 1854 when Lyman J. Burrell settled the rough wilderness that is now home to our winery and Estate vines. Carrying on the more than 130 year old tradition at the School, Dave and Submit Siren Anne Moulton began development of the Estate vineyard in 1973.

Review:

The nose is rich and lovely, with aromas of black cherry, currants, blueberry, plum, wet earth, oak, and sweet spice. A sip and rich dark-fruit flavors embrace your palate, with notes of sweet spice, earth, nutty elements and a touch a graham cracker at the finish. Smooth and approachable, yet full of flavors, this wine is a rare treat.
