Cherry, plum, and blackberries aromas meld with coffee, cedar, smoked meat, and vanilla on the nose. A sip reveals flavors of black cherry, plum, and blackberry rounded out by suggestions of game, cedar, and a bit of spice. A fairly smooth wine that’s a bit gamy but not over-the-top, fans of that character will enjoy this bottle, especially at the price.
